Mignoni, based in New York, specializes in secondary market works by prominent European & American Post War artists. The gallery advises institutions and private clients in acquiring works by a renowned group of artists, including Alexander Calder, Donald Judd, Carl Andre, Kenneth Noland, Anne Truitt, Ed Ruscha, John Chamberlain, Sol LeWitt, Lucio Fontana, and Eduardo Chillida, among others.
Fernando Mignoni was previously at Christie’s London for nearly a decade as Director of the Contemporary Art Department in 2007 but left to join his family’s gallery, Galeria Elvira Gonzalez, in Madrid. Fernando founded Mignoni in 2017 with an inaugural exhibition of Progressions by Donald Judd. The gallery has been presenting three to four high-quality exhibitions with a focus on the Color Field and Minimal Art movements. More recently, the gallery has been participating in major art fairs that have allowed the gallery to present its program to international audiences.
