#GallerySelfieWeek 2021

Join @The_ADAA’s annual celebration of galleries by sharing your favorite gallery selfies with us, Tuesday, June 8, through Saturday, June 12. Over the past year, galleries have not only brought us some amazing in-person shows, but have forged new channels for creativity, collaboration, and conversation with digital programs including virtual exhibitions and Zoom artist talks. In that spirit, during Gallery Selfie Week 2021 we want to see all the ways galleries have connected you with the art you love—either in the past or present—from inspiring in-person visits to memorable moments on the virtual frontier.

To participate, first make sure you’re following @The_ADAA on Instagram. Then, between June 8 and 12, post a selfie in front of a work of art, while watching an artist talk, or of you enjoying any other kinds of in-person or virtual gallery programming, using the tag #GallerySelfieWeek in the caption. 

We also encourage you to tag or geotag the gallery! Your tagged snapshot will give you an entry into a photo contest where submissions will be featured on the ADAA’s social media channels (reaching over 142K followers) and a grand-prize winner will receive a specially curated set of art books and exhibition catalogues!
